This area of the website is for faculty interested in the Virtual College and those already with assigned courses.  You will find relevant information regarding teaching for the Virtual College; development of online courses; Virtual College policies, procedures and guidelines for teaching an online course; resources, and other information.  Faculty developing courses, with course assignments, and taking an online certification workshop will be able to get into their courses through this area.

Where the Virtual College differs from other Distance Education efforts at Miami Dade College is that our online classes are more like classroom-based courses in that there is plenty of interaction among the students and faculty and deadlines for assignments are spaced out throughout the term.  Students are in charge of their own learning and the instructor is the facilitator and mentor.
